Aperture (F-stops) F4, F5.6, F8, F11, F22

F4 is a large opening, allowing a lot of light. Not the whole pic is in focus, soft in some areas.

F8/11 is a medium opening

Located on the lense (adjustable ring next to FOCUS)

Light Painting

Light painting, guys!

As, uh, as you can see, I tried to make a sort of cartoon devil face sorta thing with the tiny beard thing he's got, but I kept accidentally putting the horns too close to his eyes, and his beard too far up. But on the bright side, I figured out how to work with shutter speed and do light painting.

Okay, so, basically, she's making us do our own research.

-Find two examples of depth of field

-Be familiar with rule of thirds

-Look at examples of interesting angles.

2-4 pictures of textures - y'know, stuff like, uh. cracked paint on a fence or something.

2-4 pictures of objects - Something with sentimental value or a connection to your life?
