Shutter Speed
-Control Exposure in order for an image to be captured. There must be light to take a picture
•The shutter speed is the duration of time that light is allowed to pass through the camera.

Shorter shutter speed = less light let through
Longer shutter speed = more light let through

the shutter blocks all light from being exposed until you press the button.
